Job Description
- Organize, maintain, and manage class systems in proper working condition.
- Teach students and learners to use computers.
- Instruct students on how computers work, including the basic science and mathematics behind their operation and the hardware and software built on those foundations.
- Teach how to write computer programs, algorithms, and programming languages.
- Design and develop appropriate computer instructional material.
- Manage and monitor students’ behavior.
- Develop and implement lesson plans and classroom activities in consistent with the students levels to provide the students with opportunity to achieve their maximum potential in areas of ICT.
- Monitor students’ progress through quizzes, evaluations and follow up sheets.
- Observing and managing classroom dynamics.
- Ensuring the safety and well-being of students inside and outside the classroom (in the computer lab).
- Manage, develop and share resources to enhance teaching of ICT and Computing.
- Attend department meetings, parents’ meetings, and all staff meetings, and provide any information required for individual pupils.
- Contribute to supervisory duties, administrative routines, and duties in pastoral and curricular matters following school policies.
- Adhere to and promote all school values, policies, and procedures.
Job Requirements
- Ability to communicate and deliver lessons in fluent English (written and spoken).
- Experience in the American curriculum is a must.
