Job Description
- Define the technological strategy in conjunction with the development team of each project: pipeline, tools, and key development procedures
- Assess technical risk and mitigation plan
- Establish standards and procedures to track and measure project's progression
- Evaluate development teams, identifying strengths, problem areas, and developing plans for improving performance
- Evaluate interview candidates for technical positions
- Scout for and evaluate new technology and tools as opportunities for innovation and development excellence
- Oversees technical design documentation process for correctness and timeliness
- Provides input to the other disciplines on the practicality of initial design goals and impact to the overall project timeline
- Evaluate software implementation on design and task thoroughness
- Help to identify high risk areas for management team
- Identify weak software systems that need code improvement and schedules corrective action, when possible
- Create automated test process for system features, where possible, and contributes to the build system
- Aid in all stages of post-production including during finalizing
- Manage Systems environment, and Technical operation teams
- Provide Commercial & operations team with technical advice and support
- Oversee each project’s life cycle from conception to completion, with an emphasis on technical soundness and resource efficiency
- Develop and revise statements of work, which should include accurate time and cost estimates
- Analyze user requirements and usability metrics to ensure customer satisfaction
- Apply architectural and functional specifications to each project
- Meet with clients to refine and evaluate requirements, strategy and content needs
- Enforce coding standards across all technical teams
- Research and introduce new technologies for all employees and management
- Assist in creating in-house standards responsible for the technical activities related to Commercial, Marketing, Business Development, and Customer care
- Take ownership of technical vendor selection, management, delivery, Technical operations, and Device Management and ensure all functions are aligned to deliver best customer experience, and measure it through KPIs
- Build technology Budget, and related forecasts; taking the responsibility of meeting planned budget KPIs
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, or Computer Science
- 10+ years of experience
- Service Management Industry at least 5 years
- A growth mindset, attention to detail, and an excellent work ethic.
