Job Description
Job Objectives:
- Establish an effective Quality system cover the control needed for material entry to product release
- Ensure all products produced in factories under his responsibilities are exposed to quality inspection regime.
- Ensure all products released to warehouses are complying with customer specifications and requirement.
- Assign the Proper quality inspectors in terms of number and qualifications are located in right check point.
Job Duties:
- Understanding customer requirement, expectations and needs for different Yarns.
- Ensure the material used as a feeding to each yarn machine is conforming to quality standard & technical specifications.
- Ensure that for master batch and material loaded to yarn machine a first off sample is withdrawn and inspected and approved prior machine to start production.
- Design quality control system for patrol inspections on Yarn machines to ensure all running products fulfill the customer requirement and its design.
- Follow up with all quality leaders the progress of implementing quality control system within the factories under his responsibilities.
- Ensure all Yarns produced are conforming to specifications and customer requirement.
- Ensure that the right representing sample is withdrawn regularly from Yarns to ensure its conformance.
- Align regularly with all quality leaders on new product requirement and quality standards.
- Apply statistical techniques for sampling inspections and decision making.
- Lead the root cause analysis for all rising problems regularly to ensure the proper corrective actions are in place to prevent problem recurrence.
- Create corrective actions log to ensure all proposed action are within due date and as per the desired.
- Share lesson learnt between factories under his responsibilities to ensure prevention thinking is applied.
- Work on daily base with his stakeholders from production and maintenance and HSE and weaving sections to resolve routine and non-routine problems.
- Report regularly to quality Director the quality status on monthly bases on the main K.P.Is of quality performance .
- Share with factory managers the best practice & lesson learnt within factories under his responsibilities.
- Participate positively in customer complaints root cause analysis and effective corrective actions to prevent the complaints recurrence.
- Be fully aware with all applied and implemented standards related requirement in factories under his responsibilities to support in ensuring compliance and fulfillment of requirement such as – but not limited to – ISO 9001-2015, ISO 14001-2015, Customer special requirement, C.O.C, …etc.
- Apply with full understanding the tools of root cause analysis with all production defects and customer complaints such as but not limited to Fish Bone, 5 Whys....etc.
- Competent in leading team to define the proper corrective and preventive actions to eliminate the source of the problem and/or prevent its recurrence, using tools such as 8D report, FMEA, PDCA,.....etc
- Create Quality plan for all products group of yarns from end to end process.
- Provide the needed training and coaching to his team to fulfill their job requirement and qualifications.
- Monitor regularly his team performance and manage the positive and effective feedback to all of them.
- Ensure and fully be committed to HSE requirement and deploy this culture to all his team.
Job Requirements
Practical Experience
- 10 years at least practical experience in quality function out of them at least 3 years as a Manager in big or multinational organizations, preferred Yarns industries.
- Managing investigation processes and testing laboratories for incoming material for at least 3 years.
- Very good awareness of Quality control and Quality Assurance activities.
- Building a new system for quality control and create documented procedures himself is a must.
Skills & Qualification and Certification:
- Highly analytical thinking.
- Decision maker and good balancing between business requirement and Quality Requirement.
- Skillful in Problem-solving to foresee obstacles and make strategic decisions.
- Very Good Communication skills.
- Presentation Skills.
- Leadership skills
- Report writing skills.
- Good Command of English.
Education:
- B.Sc. of Engineering of Yarn and Fabric or Chemistry or equivalent from reputable university.
Other Requirement:
- Knowledge of MS programs.
- Knowledge of MS Project.
- Knowledge of Minitab software.
- Knowledge of Statistical tools.
