Job Description
Provide Strategic Direction:
- Manage the productivity of the marketing plans and projects.
- Develop, plan, monitor and architect innovative brand and marketing strategies, campaigns, materials, tactics & programs aiming to deliver company objectives in term of Revenue, Expenses, P&L & market share
- Effectively monitor and manage the marketing budget, through innovative marketing campaigns including launch and reminder events and activities to achieve strategic objectives
- Effectively approve and utilize traditional & innovative marketing tools & diverse multi-brand resources.
- Translating marketing strategies into defined projects to maximize Disease area/Product revenues.
- Follow up and/or deliver trainings and key note speaker for brands/areas of disease of company products and portfolio
- Provide guidance within department to develop/ implement innovative business solutions
- Personally intervene and resolve complex / sensitive business and individual issues within the marketing department
- Continuously identify growth opportunities whether product/portfolio expansion or increase access or coverage.
- Work closely and maintain cooperative relationships with all internal stakeholders’ especially medical, regulatory, market access subordinates and sales functions.
- Involved in developing short/long term strategic decisions and plans in coordination with Primary Care Business Unit Director and management to achieve company vision and ensure right implementation of key actions.
Alignment & Review:
- Align with medical & Market access partners to develop and maintain excellent relationships with KOL’s, MOH officials, NGO and medical associations
- Align with all responsible stakeholders to ensure successful product launches across areas under responsibility and maintain current products growth in alignment with regional & global company strategies.
- Regularly reviews performance of the business within department and ensure adherence with defined strategies policies and procedures.
Improve Market share through existing and new business opportunities:
- Identify new areas for growth and development for improving revenues.
- Ensure consistent and continuous market share growth through key marketing strategies within the existing portfolio.
- Develop optimal customer segmentation processes along with optimum sales force set up and effectiveness in coordination with Business Unit Head, SFE and NSMs
- Consistently improve Customer experience
Audit and Compliance:
- Plan & ope rationalize all processes implemented in the country
- Ensure that business is meeting desired compliance levels set under Country policies.
Build Capabilities and motivated workforce:
- Provide leadership, development and guidance to build best in class marketing team.
- Ensure continuous development of direct reports and build successors for key and critical roles
- Establish and regularly review individual performance and developmental expectations with all direct reports.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor degree (pharmacist)
- 10+ years’ experience with 5 years as a Marketing team leader in a highly pressurized environment, with Sales background
- Fluent English and Arabic (written and spoken)
- Strong analytical and project management skills.
- Confident and dynamic personality.
