Job Description

Job Scope:

  • The lead cashier is responsible for the supervision of a team of cashiers, providing training,monitoring, and assistance with operational issues.
  • The lead cashier is responsible for maintaining guest service as per company standards.
  • Responsible for the efficient expedition of all guest transactions as well as ensuring guest satisfaction at the service desk and proper control of all cash and media materials in all governments stores.

Main Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Ensure that each guest receives outstanding guest service by providing a guest friendly environment.
  • Conducts or participates in hiring of new cashiers as requested.
  • Responsible for assisting in training of new cashiers and cross-training of other associates.
  • Oversees the productivity, breaks and daily scheduling of all cashiers and communicates performance issues to management.
  • Identify and correct cash register errors and take measures to ensure that further errors do not happen.
  • Oversee and authorize guest returns, exchanges, merchandise credits and check authorization, assures the completion of all stores transactions and the proper control of all cash according to company policies and procedures.
  • Resolve employee conflicts and ensure that any customer complaints are handled immediately.
  • Responsible for the preparation of final daily deposits report for each store in each governorate and reporting it to the management.
  • Ensures compliance of company policies, procedures and practices; and supports company loss prevention efforts.
  • Other related duties as assigned.

  • Excellent customer service skills and a positive attitude are essential to interact with customers and employees.
  • Requires strong attention to details and proficiency with numbers.
  • Ability to communicate clearly, concisely and persuasively.
  • Ability to interact effectively at all levels and across diverse cultures.
  • Ability to solve practical problems.
  • Ability to perform repetitious activities.

Qualifications:

  • Candidates should have previous experience at least 3 years
  • Very good English
  • Excellent user of Microsoft office.
