Job Description
- Gather and evaluate user requirements in collaboration with product managers and engineers
- Illustrate design ideas using storyboards, process flows and sitemaps
- Design graphic user interface elements, like menus, tabs and widgets
- Build page navigation buttons and search fields
- Develop UI mockups and prototypes that clearly illustrate how sites function and look like
- Create original graphic designs (e.g. images, sketches and tables)
- Prepare and present rough drafts to internal teams and key stakeholders
- Identify and troubleshoot UX problems (e.g. responsiveness)
- Conduct layout adjustments based on user feedback
- Adhere to style standards on fonts, colors and images
Job Requirements
3+ years of design experience framing lean, intuitive and iterative user experiences. (SaaS Enterprise or B2B platform experience preferred.)
HCI or design or related field
Proficiency in Adobe CS, Adobe XD, Sketch, and Figma
Understanding of web standards and the latest mobile technologies, image optimization, and cross-browser compatibility
Strong understanding of iOS and Android design guidelines
Experience designing dense and responsive layouts for the web
Experience defining and evolving branding and brand guidelines
Good time management and organizational skills
A track record of designing product that has been shipped (concept work is not sufficient)
Experience working in an agile/scrum development process
Basic understanding of JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and other front-end technologies
Preferred:
Experience user testing and user research methods
Familiarity with Accessibility best practices and implementation
Familiarity with CSS/HTML
Experience in Graphic design.
