Job Description
- Head Of operation is required for a big facility management company Located : in Maadi, cairo
Responsibility - Participate to major company activities such as new projects bidding, financial commitments, assets purchasing and key staff hiring and appraisals.
- Develop internal systems, procedures, and practices in line with the group standards and designed to continuality enhance the efficiency of the company's activities.
- Manage multiple projects at the same time and ensure high level of detailed activities and control across all projects.
- Collaborate with all involved stakeholders to manage and control budgets.
- Monitor and direct, in collaboration with Project Management team, all site activities to ensure objectives are accomplished within the prescribed time frame and budget parameters.
- Assess and review the project Key Performance Indicators to determine accurate status of project, making tactical decisions for allocating resources, and assigning staff requirements, to maintain project on target.
- Guide the MEP team and assign tasks to ensure handover of projects are met with quality and expected profit, in a timely fashion. Improve and innovate the MEP department; introduce lean construction concept to improve MEP work processes with minimum cost and maximum value.
- Train, monitor and guide the MEP team to be capable to work independently and cooperatively, as and when required, to ensure efficiency and productivity; conduct workshops on certain
activities. - Adopt mass production technology into the construction industry to ensure higher profit.
- Manage changes to Engineering scope and assist in obtaining written client approval on all changes before proceeding with work.
- Prepare reports for corrective actions if project becomes behind schedule or overspends budget, and present to General Manager with recovery plan.
- Coordinate and collaborate between all MEP trades to ensure there are no conflicts and/or clashes through the Building Information Modelling (BIM).
Job Requirements
Qualifications, Experience, Knowledge & Skills
- Bachelor /Master's Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering from a reputable university or colleges.
- Preferably MBA qualified.
- With Minimum 8 years experience in the Maintenance specifically with residential Building works; minimum of 8 years of management experience.
- Must have proven leadership ability, communications skills, interpersonal skills and sound judgment.
- Must be able to develop strong relationships and accounts with clients.
- A creative thinker and excellent organizer.
- Excellent Oral and written skill in English.
