Job Description
JOB OBJECTIVE:
- The Social Creative Designer is responsible for creatively representing information to help fulfill the center’s objectives.
- Creative imagery and customized designs to visualize information in a visually attractive way that will increase engagement among the relevant target audience.
- Take into consideration multiple aspects including actual message being communicated, organizational objectives, target audience, and platform best practices when creating any designs.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Create images that creatively convey a message
- Develop graphics and visual or audio images for product illustrations, logos, and social media platforms
- Create designs either by hand or using computer software packages
- Select colors, images, text style, and layout
- Incorporate changes recommended by management into the final design
- Review designs for errors before printing or publishing them
- Create PowerPoint templates
- Design graphics, banners and other Web images to be a part of integrated marketing campaigns.
- Effectively designs in a clean, well-structured, easily maintainable format
- Utilizes wire framing and graphic sketches where appropriate
- Contribute to conceptualizing campaigns and activations from a creative perspective
- Help create guidelines and creative identities where needed
- Ensure digital/social best practices are applied and brand guidelines are followed
- Proactively suggest creative content/designs based on solid understanding of strategic objectives
Job Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, SKILLS & COMPETENCIES:
- Degree in Graphic Design, Multimedia Design, or related field
- Minimum 2-4 years’ prior experience in a digital agency or equivalent. Social Media experience is a must.
- Experience working on Adobe Illustration - Photoshop - InDesign
- Enthusiastic about social media and experience using social media platforms
- Able to meet deadlines and follow internal processes
- Able to work under pressure
- Proactive in proposing new ideas and concepts
- Collaborative, flexible can-do work style
- Able to show portfolio of previous successful work
- Possess solid understanding of design and user experience, leverage data where possible to ensure maximizing usability
- Desire and willingness to work in a collaborative, innovative, flexible and team-oriented environment
- Details oriented individual who reviews his/her work carefully. Quality control is key.
