Job Description
- Review Project design packages, and manage the scope definition.
- Manage the Sub-contractors selection and contracting process.
- Manage project construction team and contractors on site.
- Supervise all construction work.
- On-site problem solving and ability to adapt to different project environments.
- Manage all client communications on site.
- Ensure compliance to relevant standards during installation.
- Carry out the project commissioning with the Operations and Maintenance team until project handover.
- Study the project contract documents (time schedule, project design drawings, BOQ, etc.).
- Study and prepare requests for information (RFIs) for all missing, unclear, conflicting or other technical matters that may arise during construction.
- Review sub-contractors’ shop drawings as well as outsourced shop drawings and coordinate their approval process with the project consultant.
Job Requirements
- One with a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, renewables or equivalent
- Proven track record of 3-4 years of solar project management experience, especially mega-scale projects.
- In-depth knowledge of the National Electrical Code, solar permitting, and other PV system regulatory codes.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Proficient in PVSYST, AutoCAD, SketchUp.
