Job Description
RA3D is hiring a Laravel engineer to join a fintech project for one of our clients. This is an outsourced client-facing role where you’ll work on extending and customising backend systems with complex business rules. You’ll be responsible for new features, third-party integrations, API development, and optimising backend performance for real-world financial operations.
Your responsibilities include:
- Customise and extend Laravel-based systems and open-source foundations
- Build APIs that support financial features like invoicing, payments, ledgers
- Integrate with external systems (payment gateways, auth, analytics, CRMs)
- Define and enforce business logic across roles, workflows, and conditions
- Monitor performance, handle queues, jobs, and schedule tasks
- Work closely with frontend and infrastructure teams
Job Requirements
Core needs:
- 4+ years of professional experience with Laravel
- Experience using NoSQL and SQL databases
- Experience working with open-source codebases and adapting them to real needs
- Strong grasp of API design, system integration, and clean architecture
- Deep understanding of multi-role systems, access control, and data consistency
- Experience with financial logic, money flows, invoicing or accounting models
Bonus points if you have experience with:
- Python and/or Java for scripting or backend utilities
- Experience using LLM integrations
- Docker or other containerisation tools
- Experience with fintech systems, large-scale transactional apps, or ERP platforms
- Exposure to hardware integration, embedded systems, or automation platforms
