Job Description
- Act as the point of contact between the manager and internal/external clients
- Screen and direct phone calls and distribute correspondence
- Handle requests and queries appropriately
- Take dictation and minutes
- Produce reports, presentations and briefs
- Assist in planning and coordinating inbound and outbound shipments.
- Prepare and manage shipping-related documents such as invoices, bills of lading, delivery orders, and customs forms.
- Communicate with vendors, freight forwarders, and internal departments to ensure proper execution of shipments.
- Follow up on delivery schedules and provide status updates to the operations manager.
- Help monitor inventory levels, stock movement, and warehouse activities.
- Ensure data entry accuracy in logistics systems and tracking tools.
- Handle routine administrative tasks such as filing, reporting, and scheduling.
- Support in solving operational issues or shipment delays.
- Coordinate with the warehouse team for packing, labeling, and dispatch readiness.
- Assist in preparing monthly operational reports and KPIs for management review.
Job Requirements
- This position is available in both our 6th of October and El Obour branches.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in an administrative or operations/logistics role (shipping or cargo background is a plus).
- Good understanding of shipping documentation and logistics procedures.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Experience using ERP or logistics software is a plus..
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Team player with a proactive and problem-solving attitude.
