Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior SAP FICO Consultant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in implementing and optimizing SAP Finance and Controlling modules to meet the financial needs of our organization. As a Senior SAP FICO Consultant, you will be responsible for leading SAP FICO projects, collaborating with business stakeholders, and ensuring the successful implementation and support of SAP FICO solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the gathering of business requirements and translate them into SAP FICO system specifications.
- Design, configure, and customize SAP FICO modules to align with business processes and requirements.
- Integrate SAP FICO modules with other SAP modules and third-party systems to support end-to-end business processes.
- Plan and execute data migration activities to transfer financial data from legacy systems to SAP.
- Develop and execute test scripts to validate the functionality of SAP FICO modules and coordinate user acceptance testing.
- Provide training to end users and key stakeholders on SAP FICO functionalities and best practices.
- Provide ongoing support and maintenance for SAP FICO modules, including troubleshooting issues and resolving incidents.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and optimization within the finance and accounting functions.
- Lead or participate in SAP FICO implementation projects, managing project timelines, resources, and deliverables.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and internal policies related to financial reporting and data privacy.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in SAP FICO implementation and support roles.
- Strong understanding of SAP FICO modules, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset Accounting, Cost Center Accounting, and Profit Center Accounting.
- Hands-on experience in configuring and customizing SAP FICO modules to meet business requirements.
- Proficiency in SAP S/4HANA Finance is preferred.
- Experience with SAP integration tools and methodologies.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and collaborative team environment.
- SAP certification in FICO modules is a plus.
