Job Description
Genify.ai is a global fintech firm with a presence in Cairo, the UAE, and Beijing. We provide AI-powered software to banks and other fintech, focusing on personal finance management and alternative data credit scoring. Since our inception in July 2019, we have built a complete API product suite, received awards and grants, won two hackathons, and built a team of ~10 people across our locations.
We are now preparing for the launch of our EZloan nano loan offering in Egypt and are looking for a talented individual to take on a leadership role at the crossroads of tech and operations.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Lead development of major partnerships with the bank and large e-commerce players for product launch and aggressively pursue other partners/client development.
- Set up and lead Genify’s non-tech ops for product launch (expand team, upgrade legal set up, ...)
- Supervise Cairo software dev. Team (3 developers) with support of dev. lead (process management only)
- Contribute to product roadmap definition based on client or user feedback
- Lead Genify’s participation in the AUC VL fintech acceleration program

Job Requirements
- 5+ years experience in financial services (retail preferred), consulting, software sales, or cross-functional role at a fintech or relevant startups
- Affinity with tech in addition to business/strategy/product/ops a big plus
- Experience with the product or technical project mgmt. A plus but no software dev. experience required
- Experience in the Egyptian market a must: ideally within financial / telco / ride-hailing sectors
- Team management experience a must (5+ people)
- Ability to manage a complex external stakeholder map of clients, corporate partners, advisors
- High levels of ownership, drive, process management, communication (outreach, pitch, negotiate)
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment with constant iteration
