Job Description
The job of a content writer is to create print and digital content for companies that provide information or showcases the products or services they offer. To develop content that accurately reflects company ideals, content writers often research the material they need to write each article or product description. They collaborate closely with a content manager and clients to write according to a company's editorial style. An effective writer works independently and consistently meets deadlines.
Responsibilities
- Produce well-researched content for publication online and in print
- Organize writing schedules to complete drafts of content or finished projects within deadlines
- Follow an editorial calendar, collaborating with other members of the content production team to ensure timely delivery of materials
- Develop related content for multiple platforms, such as websites, email marketing, product descriptions, videos, and blogs
- Create and Manage online content strategy and creation.
- Use search engine optimization (SEO) strategies in writing to maximize the online visibility of a website in search results
Job Requirements
- Hands-on 5+ years of professional copywriting experience with a solid portfolio of work.
- Excellent command of the (UAE/ KSA/Gulf and white Arabic) and a good command of English are a must.
- Previous experience in Fashion, Technology, and business writing preferred
- Impeccable grasp of the Arabic & English language, including idioms and current trends in slang and expressions based on targeted audiences
- A complete portfolio of copywriting content and creative campaigns showcasing your skills and experience.
- Ability to work on multiple projects with different objectives simultaneously
- Proficiency with computers, especially writing programs, such as Google Docs and Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
- Bachelor's degree in Arabic, journalism, marketing, or other related fields.
- Knowledge of online content strategy and creation.
- Excellent writing, editing, proofreading, and research skills.
- Having an understanding of User Experience, SEO, and CRM.
