Job Description

Position Summary:
We are seeking a strategic and experienced Procurement Manager to lead our procurement operations at the Sadat City site. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the sourcing, negotiation, and purchasing of materials, supplies, and services required for our operations. This role demands strong analytical skills, supplier management expertise, and a deep understanding of procurement best practices to ensure cost efficiency and supply continuity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute procurement strategies aligned with business objectives.
  • Manage sourcing activities, including supplier selection, contract negotiation, and performance evaluation.
  • Ensure the timely and cost-effective procurement of raw materials, packaging, spare parts, and services.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with local and international suppliers.
  • Coordinate with production, planning, and inventory teams to align procurement plans with operational needs.
  • Monitor market trends, pricing, and risk factors to anticipate potential supply issues.
  • Analyze procurement data and generate reports on spend, cost savings, supplier performance, etc.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives to optimize procurement processes and reduce costs.
  • Ensure full compliance with internal policies and external regulatory requirements.
  • Oversee and manage procurement transactions and documentation using the SAP system.

Job Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum 10 years of procurement experience, with at least 3 years in a managerial or supervisory role.
  • Strong negotiation skills and knowledge of sourcing strategies and supplier management.
  • Experience in handling both local and international purchasing, including import procedures.
  • Solid understanding of procurement policies, contracts, and cost analysis.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment.
  • Proficiency in SAP is a must.
