Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, leases, and other legal documents
- Strategically counsel clients and potential clients on legal matters
- Identify legal or contractual issues and develop new approaches to resolve complex issues
- Provide legal advice to senior management regarding various corporate and business matters
- Remain current on targeted jurisdiction laws, regulations, affecting the company operations.
- Manage relationships and collaborate with co-counsel
Qualifications for Lawyer - JD or LLM with exceptional academic credentials
- License to practice law in the state you are working in.
- Being able to adapt as and when required with the latest changes in the rules regulation and laws of the targeted jurisdiction.
- Excellent Knowledge in building policies, terms and conditions.
- 6-10 years of experience at a law firm or within an in-house legal department
- Exceptional written and verbal communication and negotiation skills.
- Excellent business judgment and high level of professionalism.
- Ability to work in teams.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
Job Requirements
- The candidate should have 8+ years of relevant experience gained in a litigation-focused firm; excellent academic background and technical, drafting and litigation skills. Should be familiar with coordinating multi-jurisdictional litigation as part of a cross-border approach to litigation. Track record of excellence in client service; high level of awareness concerning international issues; strong communication and organizational skills are required; ability to manage multiple priorities and ensure that deadlines are consistently met.
