Job Description
- Create the new customer file (customer coding) after obtaining the customer’s data from the Sales Department “a copy of the commercial register and tax card, discount rates, payment terms and credit limits for the customer.” In case of any changes to the customer’s data, they are modified
- Follow up on sales orders attached to the customer's order - warehouse delivery note
- Issuing invoices to customers and verifying and validity such as (quantity - price - value of the- tax).
- Ensuring that the customer receives the invoice and signs it with the delivery slip.
- Recording daily sales invoices on the sales program.
- Following up cheques under collection and overdue with the cashier and with the collectors.
- Following up the debt aging report and sending it to the sales department on a regular basis.
- Making daily entries for customers (cash collections and bank cheques) any settlements for customers.
- Settlement of customer balances in the event that the customer works as a supplier to the company in addition to being a customer.
- Matching sales account statements periodically with customers, sales representatives and collection representatives, and making sure that the customer's actual balance matches the book.
- Monitoring the customer's credit limits, amounts and number of days, and they are followed up with the Sales and Collection Department.
- Reviewing contracts, payment terms and letters of guarantee, ensuring their validity and renewal.
- Ensuring that the customer's returns are properly registered in his account and in accordance with the exchange rates of the goods (the invoice).
- Reviewing customer discounts and incentives.
- Making a daily report for the sales department showing the customers' balance.
- Making a report on the total sales of the company's customers' level with items (weekly/monthly).
- Ensure that the selling prices of products on the program are correct.
- Confirmation on balances with key customers every half year).
- Participation with the sales department in setting the customer's credit limits, the method of payment and determining the risk factor.
Job Requirements
- Proficiency in financial accounting & reporting, including external statutory reporting and audit.
- Relevant experience in ERP systems (e.g. Oracle, SAP).
- Time management and organizational skills, ability to track resolution of multiple deliverable.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Strong interpersonal and supervisory skills required.
