Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Membership Sales: Actively promote and sell memberships by engaging with prospective members in person, over the phone, and through email. Meet or exceed monthly sales goals.
  • Lead Generation and Follow-up: Generate leads through various sources (walk-ins, website inquiries, events, etc.) and follow up on leads promptly to convert them into memberships.
  • Customer Relationship Management (CRM): Use the CRM system to manage and track leads, record follow-ups, and ensure accurate data entry for all prospective members.
  • Prospective Member Tours: Conduct tours of the facility to showcase equipment, classes, amenities, and services. Answer questions and address concerns to help prospects understand the value of joining.
  • Promotion of Gym Services: Educate members and prospects about additional services, such as personal training, group classes, and wellness programs, to maximize member engagement and value.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent service to all members and guests, ensuring a welcoming and supportive environment. Address questions, complaints, or feedback professionally.
  • Sales Reporting: Track and report daily sales, leads, conversions, and other key metrics to the Sales Manager. Assist in analyzing sales data and identifying trends.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with the front desk, trainers, and other departments to ensure seamless communication and service for members.
  • Assist with Marketing Campaigns: Support sales and marketing efforts by participating in promotional events, outreach activities, and other marketing campaigns to increase community awareness and lead generation.

Job Requirements

  • Experience: 1-2 years of experience in sales, preferably in a fitness or gym environment, is preferred. Customer service experience is also advantageous.
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent. A background in fitness, sales, or related fields is a plus.
  • Skills:
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a natural ability to connect with people.
    • Goal-oriented, self-motivated, and driven to meet or exceed sales targets.
    • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
    • Ability to handle customer inquiries and concerns professionally.
    • Comfortable working with a CRM system and basic computer software (e.g., Microsoft Office).
  • Personality Traits: Friendly, energetic, and enthusiastic about fitness and healthy living. A positive attitude and team-player mindset.
