Job Description
- Utilize the Revel ERP program.
- Prepare value-added tax (VAT) reports and ensure compliance with VAT laws and regulations.
- Manage all aspects of the company's financial accounting, including accounts payable and receivable, general ledger, and financial reporting.
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, including income statements and balance sheets.
- Monitor and analyze financial data to identify variances and provide insights to management for decision-making.
- Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial models to support the company's strategic goals.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations, including GAAP and tax laws.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operations, sales, and IT, to streamline processes and improve financial performance.
- Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions and reconcile accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Analyzed balance sheet accounts, and posted monthly journal entries
- Conduct regular evaluations of inventory to maintain accurate records and ensure proper valuation.
- Forecast and track key account metrics (e.g. quarterly sales results and annual forecasts)
Job Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in Accounting/ Finance.
- FMCG background in a multinational environment.
- CPA or CMA certifications are highly desired.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor a team of accounting professionals, promoting a culture of continuous improvement and learning.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- High attention to detail and dedication to accuracy and precision in all aspects of accounting.
- Fluent proficiency in English & Arabic
