Job Description

Job Summary

The Finance Manager will be responsible for providing financial guidance & support of all related finance/accounting duties of the company. Perform all financial tasks, supervise, direct & review all work of the Finance team in the head office & branches.

Main responsibilities & duties

  • Preparation and review of company financial statements.
  • Providing variance analysis and narratives on actual vs. budget revenue and costs
  • Compiling executive information for senior management by assembling and summarizing data, preparing reports, making presentations of findings, analyses and drafting recommendations.
  • Co-ordination with Chief Accountant on Annual Budget preparation and cash flow analysis and business plan preparation.
  • Control the payroll.
  • Produce accurate month-end accounts, with comparisons to forecasts/previous periods.
  • Prepare profit and loss accounts and the balance sheet for senior management.
  • Assisting in preparing budgets and business planning, including projected room revenue.
  • Ensuring all accounts such as apartment rentals and salaries are paid on time, chase late payments, report bad debts and keep a careful eye on the cash-flow.

Reporting Structure:

  • He will report directly to the CEO.

Job Requirements

Skills & Competencies:

  • BS/MA degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics.
  • CPA/CMA/CIMA holder.
  • Other certifications are considered a plus.
  • 15+ years of experience.
  • Accounting and Finance experience in the Real Estate/Construction sectors is preferred.
  • Ability to use research tools and interpret accounting data to suggest financial plans and programs that generate desired business results.
  • Exemplary ability in preparing high quality financial reports, statements, presentations, projections and narratives.
  • Data analytical and advanced spread sheet skills, superior Microsoft Office (Power Point, Excel, Word) skills required.
  • Finance software knowledge is required.
  • Attention to details.
  • Time management and communication skills.
  • English Fluency is considered a plus.
  • Numerical ability and Integrity.
