Summary

• Responsible for providing technical assistance and support related to computer systems, hardware, or software. Responds to queries, runs diagnostic programs, isolates problem, determines and implements solution, Configure and troubleshoots Cisco switches and routers and servers building and backup.

Primary Responsibilities

• Provide technical assistance and support for incoming queries and issues related to computer systems, software, and hardware.
• Maintain and administer computer networks and related computing environments, including computer hardware, systems software, applications software, and all configurations
• Plan, coordinate, and implement network security measures in order to protect data, software, and hardware.
• Operate master consoles in order to monitor the performance of computer systems and networks, and to coordinate computer network access and use.
• Perform routine network startup and shutdown procedures, and maintain control records.
• Monitor network performance in order to determine whether adjustments need to be made, and to determine where changes will need to be made in the future.
• Respond to queries either in person or over the phone.
• Write training manuals.
• Train computer users.
• Maintain daily performance of computer systems.
• Install, modify, and repair computer hardware and software.
• Run diagnostic programs to resolve problems.
• Resolve technical problems with Local Area Networks (LAN), Wide Area Networks (WAN), and other systems.
• Install computer peripherals for users.
• Run reports to determine malfunctions that continue to occur.
• MS Server backup and management.
• Diagnose hardware and software problems, and replace defective components
• Fixing network and server cabinets (Microsoft OS - Linux OS)
