Job Description
- Provide signal processing and control systems expertise as an individual contributor and as a part of a small multidisciplinary team.
- Think outside the box in a research and new product development setting.
- Scope the nature and assess the feasibility of assigned projects.
- Perform necessary engineering analysis and calculations for the project.
- Develop or improve signal processing algorithms and control systems, starting with computer simulation, continuing with rapid software prototyping, and ending with embedded hardware implementation.
- Perform experimental testing, occasionally involving travel, and analyze and present the results to internal peers and external customers.
- Interact effectively with customers and internal sales people to address real-world application and product requirements.
- Coordinate effectively with technicians associated with a project.
- Work effectively with other departments, including marketing and operations, to ensure new products are both manufacturable and appealing to customers.
- Pursue patents, application notes, research papers, conference presentations, and other forms of internal and external publications.
- Serve in a mentor role in developing younger engineers.
Job Requirements
- Excellent Knowledge of DSP Basics & Mathematics (Sampling theory, Fourier Transform & FFT, Frequency Domain Manipulations...etc)
- Excellent Knowledge of Digital Filters Design and Implementation
- Very Good Knowledge of Adaptive Filters Design and Implementation
- Wavelet based analysis
- Familiar with machine learning techniques and different types of classifiers
- Familiar with Biomedical Vital signals
- Excellent Knowledge of Matlab
- Very Good Knowledge of C++
