Job brief
Copywriters are responsible for the linguistic content of adverts. They work across a range of media and formats, interpreting account briefs to compose advertorial content such as slogans, catchphrases, tweets and scripts for TV and/or radio adverts.
Responsibilities:
- Discussing the client's core message and target audience.
- Brainstorming visual and copy ideas with other members of the creative team.
- Amending, revising or redeveloping adverts or campaigns in response to feedback from the creative team, account team or clients.
- Working on several projects at once, sometimes under pressure and often to tight deadlines
- Writing various copy options, which may be presented to the client as a storyboard a consecutive series of frames depicting the script and drawings that may be used.
