Job Description
Role Title: Investment Accountant. Corporate Title: Finance Officer
Schedule: Full-time
Contract: 12 Months renewable
Start Date: As soon as possible
Location: Smart Village, Giza
Responsibilities
ACE & Company is looking forward add one team member in its Cairo office to support the Investment Execution Team. Responsibilities for this role include but are not limited to
- Assist with new accounting system implementation
- Record and update investment transactions on the accounting system
- Analyze the possible variances and make the necessary entries in the journals by interacting with various team members
- Provide assistance in the preparation of finance materials
- Provide support for Investment execution processes
- Assist in accurately preparing the investment and cash reconciliations
- Handle routine accounting activities on investments
Job Requirements
- At least 2 years of accounting experience in life insurance, financial services, or other Investment environments.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting and/or Finance
- General knowledge of investment process, products, and the accounting of funds
- Fluency in spoken and written English is a must – French is a plus
- Advanced Microsoft Office Skills
- Demonstrated ability to learn and become proficient with accounting software and database management tools.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to understand overall accounting results and transactions
