Job Description
·Analyze tender documents, specifications, and technical requirements to ensure compliance with client requirements.
·Prepare accurate cost estimates, including materials, equipment, labor, and time required for the project.
·Work closely with project managers, engineers, and other internal teams to gather necessary information for tender preparation.
·Coordinate with suppliers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to obtain quotes and align with pricing strategies.
·Develop comprehensive technical and commercial proposals, ensuring compliance with internal and external guidelines.
·Attend pre-bid meetings, site visits, and client negotiations to gather relevant information.
·Monitor and track tender status, deadlines, and submission requirements.
·Conduct risk assessments and propose mitigation strategies to minimize potential project risks.
·Ensure all bids are prepared and submitted by company policies and industry best practices.
·Keep current with market trends, pricing fluctuations, and industry standards to maintain competitive advantage.
Job Requirements
·Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or related discipline).
·Minimum 5 years of experience.
·Proven experience in tendering, bid management, or a similar engineering or construction industry role.
·Strong understanding of tendering procedures, procurement processes, and contract negotiations.
·Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
·Ability to interpret technical specifications and drawings.
·Proficient in tendering software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).Strong communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
·Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
·Attention to detail and accuracy in bid preparation.
·Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and manage multiple tenders simultaneously.
