Job Description
- Responsible for managing, maintaining and improving safety in the workplace. Is also responsible for ensuring that legislation is adhered to and complied with in order to manage the planning, implementing, monitoring and reviewing of the health, safety environmental.
- Coordinate the efforts of and coach personnel through the development of critical documentation and tools to support risk assessments, safe work practices and adverse event miss reporting & investigation
- Work closely with site management to ensure continual improvement and compliance in HES activities
- Maintain and develop compliance-related policies and procedures based on HES requirements
- Provide HES direction, assistance and support for corrective actions and recommendations to assure site HES improvements
- Determine trends and action plans for remediation and corrective actions
- Responsible for training employees on HES related topics
- Represent the Company to outside agencies, media and auditors on HES related matters
- Record and investigate incidents to determine causes and handle worker’s compensation claims
- Review and assist in the development of new facilities and processes to ensure optimum HS&E practices are integrated as part of the change
- Select and manage consultants and/or contractors for specialized HES related work
Job Requirements
- Bachelor of Engineering, Science, Agriculture.
- Very Good English Knowledge
- Computer Skills.
- Active, ambitious, passionate.
- Experience in food & beverage production and constructions is preferable.
- Nebosh IGC.
- OSHA "general + construction" Industries.
- Risk assessment or IOSH.
- ISO 14001:2015 + ISO 45001:2018 "Awareness or lead auditor".
- HAZMAT Course.
