O7 Therapy is looking for a Wordpress Developer to create WordPress themes and plugins. You will communicate with employees, and stakeholders to ensure our company’s technologies are used appropriately. Strong understanding of latest industry trends and content management systems are essential in this role. If you are also an excellent communicator, we’d like to meet you.
Responsibilities:
- Build websites, prototypes and applications using the latest frontend technologies including creating WordPress themes and updating plugins.
- Formulate an effective, responsive design and turning it into a working theme and/or plugin.
- Monitor the performance of the live website, conduct website performance tests, and provide time resolution to reported problems with existing websites.
- Rebuild templates with a focus on mobile design, speed, and SEO.
- Ensure all work adheres to current industry best practice.
Job Requirements
- At least 3-5 years of proven work experience as a WordPress developer.
- Experience working with WordPress visual composer plugin.
- Good understanding of front-end technologies, including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery.
- Experience building user interfaces for websites and/or web applications.
- Experience designing and developing responsive design websites.
- Comfortable working with debugging tools such as Firebug, Chrome inspector, etc.
- Ability to convert comprehensive layout and wireframes into working HTML pages
- Good understanding of website architecture and aesthetics.
