Responsibilities:
- Execute all visual design stages from concept to final delivery
- Conceptualize original ideas that bring simplicity and user friendliness to complex design roadblocks
- Create wire frames, storyboards, user flows, process flows and site maps to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas
- Present and defend designs and key milestone deliverable to peers and executive level stakeholders
- Establish and promote design guidelines, best practices and standards
Job Requirements
Requirements:
- Understanding of web programming and scripting languages
- Demonstrated proficiency with the Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop & Illustrator
- Good working knowledge of the main web design applications
- Strong creative skills
- Ability to pay attention to details
- Good problem-solving skills and a logical approach to work
- Ability to work to deadlines
- Understanding of legislation and guidelines for website accessibility
- Willingness to keep up to date with changes in technology and software.
- Basic understanding of HTML (including HTML5), CSS3 and Javascript
- Familiarity with User Experience (UX) methodology and documentation
- Experience designing for social media, including basic knowledge of latest standards, guidelines and sizes used for all major platforms
- Experience design online advertising, including familiarity with Google display standards
- Years of work experience in the field of web design. Must have excellent command of Adobe Photoshop, Dreamweaver, CSS, HTML programming, Flash and other design tools.
- Must be highly creative with strong management, communication and organizational skills.
- Passion for design and innovation is essential.
- All candidates must supply at least one reference from a previous employer.
- Candidates should be able to provide samples of prior work.
