Job Description
- Develop, code or modify, test, and debug application programs of varying degree of complexity
- Collaborate with other developers to produce working software that delivers business value and follows established design patterns
- Troubleshoot production problems within assigned applications software
- Configure and support development environment for WebCenter and Weblogic as required
Job Requirements
- Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, or equivalent plus minimum 8 years of relevant experience, including minimum 5 years in IT.
- Strong Oracle WebCenter Sites (WCS) hands on architecture, design, and development skills.
- Java or Oracle WebCenter equivalent certification needed
- Good understand of the end to end J2EE technology stacks (from browser to back office servers).
- Good experience in web, application, commerce, database, and search integration.
- Strong Java background, J2EE framework, and web technology (HTML, XML structure, Web 2.0 Social Technology, J2EE development and tools)
- Experienced with application management and tuning on a Linux operating system.
- Understanding of use case challenges, design approach, product scaling, security, and development.
- Ability to work well under pressure and work on multiple projects concurrently.
- Ability to work well with offshore team members/suppliers
- Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision.
- Clear and crisp communication.
- Drive for results.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, including experience working with customers. Proven ability to learn and support new systems and applications.
