Job Description
- Managing daily Accounting activities
- Maintain and operate standard period-end closing schedules
- Quarterly balance sheet and P & L Fluctuation Analysis
- Assist with year-end audits
- Assist with preparation of month-end financial statements
- Spot errors and suggest ways to improve efficiency and spending
- Investigating and resolving audit findings, account discrepancies, and issues of non-compliance.
- Performing other accounting duties and supporting junior staff as required or assigned.
- Contributing to the development of new or amended accounting systems, programs, and procedures.
- Responsible for monthly, quarterly and yearly reporting package
- Assist with the preparation of other reports provided to management
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in accounting (English section is a must from an accredited university)
- Solid finance & Accounting experience
- 2 to 5 years of accounting experience.
- Knowledge in costing & Inventory accounting
- Preferably CMA/IFRS Holder
- Experience in cash forecasting
- Results oriented, Task initiatives to get things done
- Team player, adapts well in a diverse and dynamic environment
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong organizational , communication & managerial skills.
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks & meet deadlines
- High attention to details and accuracy with methodical working methods
- Fluency in spoken & written English is required
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly with Excel.
- Previous experience using an ERP system with SAP R3 (FI/CO) – Preferable
