Online English Language Instructor

Job description

We are looking for an experienced English teacher to join our team LONG-TERM.

If you love English and have the ability to teach the language with patience and tact, let’s meet.

• Teaching English ONLINE to adults. (foreign NON-Egyptian Students)

• Close follow-up on Students' progress and attendance.

• Adapting Teaching material to fit students' needs.

• The instructor is expected to use several channels for follow-up and is required to report follow-up activities according to Speak Up operating procedures and standards.

Follow-up tasks include:

• Encourage student attendance of the online classes and ensure students' participation in the classrooms.

• Conduct regular follow-up calls with students to discuss their academic progress and provide academic support as needed

• Track progress on Speak Up Student Zone and provide feedback/advice to students if needed

• Setup online classes on Speak Up learning platform

• Deliver periodic reports to management with regard to each of the groups

Schedule Sample:

• A total teaching schedule of 100 - 120 hours/month is offered.

• 2 days off.

REQUIREMENTS:

• At least 3-4 years experience in teaching English to adults / Young adults.
• TEFL/FELT/ & CELTA certificates is preferred.
• Stable & fast Internet connection.

The teacher will be guaranteed a minimum of 80 hours/month & must be willing to take up to 120 hours/month.

Will be paid on per hourly basis  for a probation period and then will be transferred to a fixed payment arrangement as below:

50% of Salary Fixed

50% of the Salary Variable
