Pharmaceutical Planning Supervisor

1. Prepare the Production Plan based upon forecast requirements, promotional requirements, and company inventory guidelines. 
2. Maintain finished goods inventories at a level specified from forecasts and promotional requirements. 
3. Ensure that all Material Requirements Planning (MRP) dates are maintained and updated accordingly. 
4. Ensure that desired Material Requirements Planning (MRP) quantities are properly communicated to the Purchasing Department. 
5. Ensure that components and services are available in a timely manner required for production. 
6. Communicate production requirements to Planning & Purchasing Department and Production Department employees to ensure that the required capacities are reserved to meet required production demand.
7. Coordinate with appropriate manufacturing personnel the solution to problems related to the Production Schedule, such as material shortage status, rejection, scrap, re-work, etc. 
8. Coordinate and communicate all plans, schedules, changes and modifications to appropriate personnel in the Planning & Purchasing and the Production Departments. 
9. Perform other duties as assigned by the Materials Manager (on- job technical and managerial).
10. Maintain excellent team-oriented working relationships among all Burt's Bees employees.                
11.  Recommend alternative materials management and planning strategies to management.
