About the Job
  • Responsible for the complete satisfaction of all customers in assigned territory as well as for achieving established company goals for all assigned Business Units of the ES Division while acting in accordance with established policies
  • Directly service customers and coordinate activities to attain established goals
  • Responsible for the sales of components in the assigned territory
  • Forecast sales volumes for both direct business (and that of the assigned agents)
  • Directly participate and formulate market penetration plan in coordination
  • Ensure accuracy of quotations – equipment selection, pricing and commercial terms
  • Participate in trade shows and sales seminars for reps and customers
  • Closely monitor the status of outstanding quotations and develop/implement a strategy for closing the order
  • Manage and be fully responsible for demo equipment used in assigned territory

Job Requirements
  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience in sales and applications sales for engineering of a highly technical product
  • Technical-commercial education with further training in sales and marketing
  • Knowledge of material handling processes employed within plastics, chemicals, minerals, food and pharmaceutical industries is advantageous
  • Knowledge of selling process; marketing techniques, components for bulk materials handling, food, chemical process industries
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English, knowledge of Dutch or German is an advantage
  • Willingness to travel
