Job Description

Role and responsibilities

  1. Production Process:

    • Monitor production processes in real-time on the shop floor to ensure they run within specified parameters.

    • Respond to line downtime events by assisting with diagnostics and basic troubleshooting.

    • Document process parameters, interruptions, and production outputs accurately and timely.

  2. Data Analysis & Reporting:

    • Collect data analysis on yield, efficiency, and downtime.

    • Prepare daily shift reports on production performance.

  3. Process Improvement & Problem-Solving:

    • Participate in root cause analysis investigations for quality defects or equipment failures.

    • Support in implementing the best practices to improve capacity, quality, and reliability.

  4. Quality, Safety & Compliance:

    • Ensure all activities comply with standard operating procedures (SOPs) and quality standards.

    • Follow all safety protocols and contribute to maintaining a safe work environment.

    • Conduct product sampling timely and accurately to confirm product compliance.

Job Requirements

  • Qualifications and education requirements

    • Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.

    • Experience: 0-2 years of relevant experience in production jobs.

    • Analytical Skills: Strong ability to analyze data, identify trends, and solve complex problems effectively.

    • Teamwork: Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage relationships with key stakeholders.

    • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a proficiency in English.

    • 12 hours rotational based shifts.

    • Location: Preference for candidates residing in Giza.

    • Workload & Physical Demands

      ·        This role is physically active, with 100% of time spent on the shop floor, where an estimated 70% of the time spent on hands-on jobs (e.g., walking, standing, inspecting equipment, providing hands-on support), and 30% on metal tasks (e.g., data analysis, reporting, problem-solving).
