Job Description

This position utilises company software to establish the daily pickup and delivery plan for each Country or territory transportation fleet throughout business regions across Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA / MENAT) By efficiently applying systems driven geographical information and routing knowledge to the daily route plan to ensure maximum fleet efficiency and optimum customer satisfaction. This position is also responsible for conducting routine systems maintenance within RoadNet to maintain data accuracy and systems integrity.

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Develops daily route assignments based on scheduling and customer requirements utilising company software for route standardisation.
  • Evaluates incoming pickup, deliveries, and route assignments as determined by company software and determines Driver route assignments that ensure balanced daily workloads and productivity.
  • All routes must comply with both Road Legislation, Employment Law, as well as Business rules / best practises and internal working hours and patterns relevant to the Country in question.
  • Assists Drivers in addressing corrections or changes by providing research or local market knowledge.
  • Build excellent working relationships with all internal customers / departments.
  • Responds / reacts to Driver / Vehicle resource requirements as well as road problem situations ensuring maximum on-road efficiencies. Optimum customer service, through a high-level of communication and interaction with the Transportation operations.
  • Concise 360˚ interaction with Transportation operations regarding resource availability and special requests.
  • Performs routine route analysis and planning for new and/or additional routes. Communicates and e-meets regularly with Transportation operations to review status of daily routing.
  • Monitors and prepares reports to provide daily feedback on staffing and workload performance to ensure daily productivity.
  • Conducts routine systems maintenance within company routing software to include employee numbers, geo codes, service time types, rush hour models and route passes as required.
  • Assists management with continuous improvement by recommending proper vehicle utilisation (right sizing) for territory.

Job Requirements

  • Fluency in English is a must 
  • Advanced level in French, Spanish or German is a plus 
  • Very Good Knowledge of Google sheet 
  • Team Player
  • Flexible with rotational working hours and days off 
  • At least 1 year experience as Dispatcher or Driver Support
