Job Description
- Lead AR team and guide them to reduce AR aging and optimize collections.
- Setting objectives for the account receivable team that align with the accounting department’s goals
- Perform ad hoc analysis on accounts receivable and generates reports.
- Conduct credit checks
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, annual and ad-hoc forecasting reports
- Ensure high-quality invoicing and collection procedures
- Support Accounts Receivable Clerks on a daily basis and train new team members
- Ensure all team members follow the accounting principles
- Review internal controls for efficiency. Identifies and enforces internal controls related to accounts receivables.
- Ensure AR staff is attentive to the customer inquiries and corresponds to the customers in a professional, courteous fashion. Performs other basic accounting functions related to the month-end closing process.
- Ensure direct reports obtain applicable training and development opportunities to enhance performance, development, and contributions to the company. Holds direct reports accountable for individual and team performance. Addresses performance issues appropriately and timely.

Job Requirements
- BSc degree in Accounting or Finance
- Years of Experience: 5 – 8 yrs. experience in related field preferred
- Proven work experience as an Accounts Receivable Manager or Supervisor
- Hands-on experience with Sage Intacct
- Familiarity with advanced formulas in MS Excel
- Excellent analytical skills along with the ability to create and present detailed reports
- Team management and negotiation skills
- Problem-solving attitude
- CPA certification is a plus
