Job Description
- Develop and maintain the cost accounting system, documents, and records of the organization.
- Analyze and recommend costs and cost savings.
- Make estimates of new and proposed product costs.
- Prepare and complete internal cost audits.
- Comply with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) for financial statements.
- General ledger preparation.
- Determine fixed costs (e.g. salaries, rent, and insurance)
- Review standard and actual costs for inaccuracies
- Prepare budgeting reports (for the company and for each department)
- Prepare (monthly, quarterly and annual) cost forecasts
Job Requirements
- BSc degree in Accounting, Finance or relevant study
- Computer literacy, MS Excel in particular (familiarity with VLOOKUPs and pivot tables etc…)
- Experience in FMCG
- Excellent English Language is a MUST
- Proven 3 years minimum work experience as a Cost Accountant, Cost Analyst, Accountant or similar role
- Excellent report-writing, communication, and IT skills.
