Medical Representative

• In this role you will join our International Commercial division operating in Egypt. You will manage and build strong relationships throughout your territory, being responsible for the distribution of our ophthalmic products.
• Identifying new opportunities, you will also analyse the competitive environment, regularly reporting back to senior management.
• With a Life Sciences degree, you will have demonstrable professional and pharmaceutical experience in a similar role.
• You should also have excellent organisational, communication and analytical skills and be proactive and flexible, with the ability to adapt to change where necessary.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• To effectively and proactively seek out new opportunities.
• To provide a clear understanding on the market dynamics in terms of prices, reimbursement, hospital sales, tenders, competing products positioning and activities.
• To proactively search out and identify new opportunities for promotion.
• To drive promotion activities and propose activities to provide a competitive edge
• To nurture and maintain strong relationships with KOL’s and health care professionals for relevant therapeutic areas in the team’s territories
• Follow up formulary listings for products promoted but not listed in both private and public sectors in Government and private institutions and hospitals.
• Analysis of the competitive environment and provide feedback to direct management.
• Induction of new team, product training etc.
