Job Description
Purpose:
- Selfless leader who is always excited about transferring knowledge to others, and able to shape the external environment towards innovation & better patient outcome through engaging with all relevant (policy) stakeholders to advocate for faster and comprehensive access to our innovations & and enhancing Roche’s reputation in leading healthcare innovation
Responsibilities:
- Scan and interpret relevant policies, regulations and trends
- Builds and maintains a broad network of relevant stakeholders, key influencers and thought experts in relevant areas
- Translate global positions and projects into local strategies and execute the respective plans
- Shapes the environment in an impactful way in accordance with business priorities and global positions through lobby/stakeholder engagement among the stakeholders are key decision makers and influencers such as (but not restricted to) the ministry of health, MOF, WHO, WB, Parliament & embassies.
- Ensuring a clear product/segment position and associated messaging
- Expertly and collaboratively developing, implementing and managing the annual Communications Plan including strategy, and tactics
- Expertly developing and finalizing press releases, media relations materials, Q&A documents, etc.
- Collaborates with internal team to convey our positions and messages
- Develop Disease Area Public awareness, Multi-channel Communications strategy: Launching Website, Social media channels (Facebook, Linkedin & Instagram) and Partnership for CSR activities
- Building Corporate Reputation Communications strategy, PHC Communications strategy, Governmental Affairs partnership Communications Strategy
- Network & collaborate with other Roche Affiliates to build on other achievements & approaches

- Entrepreneurial attitude, e.g. challenges the status quo and takes calculated risks
Expertise
- 7-10 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry or similar regulated industry.
- Proven knowledge in the Egyptian healthcare system and policy shaping
- Strong networking and influencing skills to facilitate stakeholder engagement.
- Proven expertise of driving business.
- Proven experience in ability to think out of the box and seek new opportunities
