Job Description
ABOUT THIS ROLE
Responsible for business development and delivery of geomarketing services to Nielsen clients in the MENAP region within a variety of industries like Retailers, Real-estate, Entertainment, Banks, Automotive, Healthcare, and other sectors that we are aiming to grow within Nielsen.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Undertake sales activities independently in terms of preparation and delivery of proposal and credentials
- Ensure the generation of required revenue and proper contract costing in order to meet the agreed budget targets
- Build a solid network with new clients and grow business and relations with them.
- Mange the geomarketing team from a technical and business perspective
- Identify and recommend enhanced and new services that answer clients' business needs including innovating new –technology-based- technical solutions
- Applying expertise in quantitative analysis and data mining to see beyond numbers and understand how spatial data add valuable business insights to our clients
- Innovate new technical solutions to automate and support different teams in Nielsen
- Writing proposals and business reports
Job Requirements
KNOWLEDGE & REQUIREMENTS
- Overall understanding of market dynamics to be able to hold meaningful conversations with the client’s stakeholders.
- Strong technical consulting skills to help solve clients business issues knowledge of GIS techniques and methodologies in research
- Design and develop technical analysis using spatial datasets(advanced street network analysis, market prioritization, proximity, geographically weighted regression analysis, etc.)
- Expert with ArcMap geoprocessing tools, model builder, ArcGIS online, Arc-server.
- Strong knowledge of enterprise spatial databases SDE, SDO, etc..
- Good knowledge of scripting (SQL, Python, Arcpy, Javascript, XML, Jason).
- Fair knowledge of OOP language and automation methods
- Proactive, able to influence and persuade.
- Strong customer service and interpersonal communication skills
- Efficient time management, ability to multi-task and detail-oriented
- Able to operate in a multi-cultural environment
- AI, ML, and big data knowledge is a plus
QUALIFICATIONS
- 5 to 8 years’ experience and proven success with primary research / GIS companies
- Bachelor degree in Geographic information system, Geography, or Geomatics
- Good analysis skills and insight generation
- A good grounding in custom research principles, methodologies, statistical techniques
- Business understanding (e.g. comfortable with terminology: revenue, profit, loss, margin)
- Excellent PowerPoint and Excel skills or Google Slides and Google Sheets
