Job Description
- Artistically translate 2D concept sketches into 3D concept models and prototypes using a combination of hand modeling techniques and 3D modeling software
Job Requirements
- 2 years of minimum experience with modeling software, including 3ds Max, Maya, or Creator
- Experience in image editing, model development, rigging, photo-realistic texturing, lighting, animation, and rendering
- Knowledge of Flash, Photoshop, or Illustrator
- Experience with Unity or Unreal Engine
- Experience with Virtual Reality (VR) technology
- 2+ years of 3D modeling/3D artist experience in consumer product industries
- Highly proficient in either Modo, Zbrush, Solidworks, Creo, and/or Alias
- Working knowledge of 3D animation and rendering software such as Autodesk Maya
- Ability to bring 2D to life using 3D tools and produce successful 3D models that ultimately translates into a profitable product
