The Cities Team is at the heart of our drive to make Uber both big and beloved by the people that matter in the cities we serve - both now and in the future. We are on the front line when it comes to advocating for our vision for urban mobility, striking strategic partnerships and celebrating cities in ways only Uber can.
As the Head of Qatar you will play a critical role in leading the market, developing and nurturing critical relationships that will grow our business, raise our profile and build driver & rider loyalty. This role will be the interface between the business and our key stakeholders (i.e. regulators, government officials, business community, academia, not-for-profits). This is a particularly challenging and rewarding role: Qatar is an exciting market with some big opportunities and can be a challenging market with established competitors and new market dynamics.
What You’ll Do
The successful candidate will work on our most strategic projects: driving the local strategy, advocating for and elevating our narrative working closely with local authorities and policy makers. They will also be able to proactively identify, engage and build advocates amongst key stakeholders in these cities that can help support Uber’s vision of urban mobility
Job Requirements
What You’ll Need
- 8 Minimum Years of Experience within strategy consulting/investments/market launch/operations.
- Minimum BA/BS degree - Masters/MBA highly preferred
- Excellent data analytics skills - SQL highly preferred
- Excellent communication skills
