Job Description

ORGANIZATIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide inputs for the division’s plans and operational budget.
  • Ensure that the division’s policies are developed and periodically reviewed, procedures for various functions are documented and implementation of these policies and procedures is monitored.
  • Ensure compliance with all legal, contractual, audit, regulatory, risk management and safety requirements and procedures, especially in respect of IP confidentiality and related risks.
  • Maintain efficiency and cost-effectiveness of all processes by ensuring that all the technology needs of the business unit are addressed (in coordination with Corporate IT).

FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responsible for achieving the allocated sales target assigned for his region and enhance general sales capacity. Prepare quarterly sales reports for the management team.
  • Responsible for collecting information on market and industry trend, tenders, incumbents, technology and price sensitivity for prioritized industries and identifying potential leads.
  • Build a strong lead pipeline in his region, identify and support the selection of local business partners in coordination with Director of Sales.
  • Educate the client and local partner about technology through presentations, marketing materials, site visits, etc.
  • Identify, build and maintain strong relationships with government entities, prioritized industries and third party vendors in his region.
  • Responsible for entering any required information in the CRM system.
  • Determine suitable solution for the customer in coordination with the Product Managers and Software Development team to identify the technical specification of the solution and communicate with the vendors to obtain a preliminary budgetary figure for development of the solution.
  • Assist customers whenever possible in issuing the RFP to ensure high match between the technical specifications of the provided solutions to the tender technical requirements to maintain high degree of competitiveness.
  • Responsible for the bid management process. Manage Pre-sales support and hand over pertinent information for identified tenders and opportunities on a timely basis.
  • Liaise with Operations division to hand over awarded contracts along with all project details and requirements.
  • Maintain relationship with existing client and attempt to upsell/ expand portfolio whenever possible.
  • Maintain presence in trade shows for IT Solutions. Provide support to product development team in organising the trade shows in his region.
  • Perform any other related job duties as requested by direct supervisor and as per the processes framework, the commitment authority matrix and the Finance DoA.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor in IT or Software Engineering
  • Master in Business Administration is a plus
  • Ten (10) years of relevant experience

  • English and Arabic proficiency

  • Knowledge of other languages is preferable
