Job Description
- To support the AIM section head /Leader in preparation of inspection plans & procedures for all field static equipment.
- Managing all integrity related repairs of operating equipment that indicated while in service inspections.
- Sharing with relevant departments in recommendations for corrosion mitigation measures through chemical inhibitors, coating & chemical treatment.
- Evaluate inspection & corrosion data, failure analysis and devise engineered solutions to proactively improve assets and critical systems integrity.
- Carry out inspection for static equipment (boilers, vessels, pipe works, tanks, structures, pipelines, etc.) as per plan.
- Follow up Inspection Routines as per WSE (Written Schemes of Examination).
- Follow up QA/QC of new field construction and erection activities as per specifications and procedures.
- Interface and align with the Maintenance Engineering teams.
- Maintaining relevant database of proper documentation (Inspection history, repair works, calibration certificates, etc.).
- Executing on site inspection & integrity activities (Visual Inspections, NDT, etc.).
- Reporting the results from field activities in the sphere of Inspection & Corrosion to the integrity section head.
- Follow-up with the responsible teams for the status of repair program.
Job Requirements
Educational Qualifications:
- B.SC Metallurgical or Mechanical Engineering or Equivalent degree.
- Authorization License for Pressure Vessels inspection (API 510) or for Piping (API 570).
- Certified Welding inspector certificate (CWI or C.SWIP).
- ASNT Level II in non destructive testing methods (UT, RT, MT &PT).
