Job Description
- Analyzing complex electronic circuitry and precision electro-mechanical assemblies in order to recommend component substitutions to ensure the integrity of the platform configuration, safety, and performance specifications.
- Identifying, analyzing, and solving obsolescence issues across multiple platforms before they impact sustainment.
- Interpreting and approving detailed technical data to support the replacement of components for items where the manufacturer has discontinued production, including Reclamation, aftermarket, F3I substitutions, emulation, and complete redesigns
- Performing technical analysis for subsystem components, component validation/verification, risk analyses and assessments of component supportability and design effective in the context of subsystems and/or platform configurations
- Analyzing components to include design, fabrication, test, integration, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal
- Performs functional analysis at the component or piece-part level, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate component requirements into hardware and/or software specifications
Job Requirements
- Experience in fire alarm & Fire fighting FM200 and Co2 at least 1 year is a must
