Job Description
Work as part of a team that acts as the central resource and driving force for the design, process, manufacturing, test, quality and marketing of product(s) as they move from conception to distribution. Organize interdepartmental activities ensuring completion of the project/product on schedule and within budget.
As a member of the product development division, you will define product specifications and or strategy. Gather and analyze information to define product specifications and review design specifications. Communicate product strategy and functionality. Initiate and foster relationships with other groups. Review product documentation and collateral. Ensure successful product releases based on corporate priorities
Job Requirements
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Extensive Experience with java.
- Experience writing J2EE web applications and web application lifecycle.
- Experience with J2EE frameworks like Spring and any JPA implementation (Hibernate/EclipseLink)
- 5+ years of web development experience
- Very focused on delivering tasks which is completely tested from all edges, and focused on making sure that all scenarios are covered.
- Work well in teams, respecting and welcoming ideas from partners, business stakeholders, and technical experts
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience with data analytics
- Experience with Solr
- Experience with multi-tier distributed applications
- Delivered one or more production J2EE applications
- Passion for creating efficient, scalable, highly clean code.
- Excited about technology, have a strong interest in learning about and playing with the latest technologies and building compelling web applications.
- Strong customer focus, ownership, urgency and drive
- Ability to convert a design document into a working module with no loss in fidelity
- Knowledge of reusability, abstraction and modularity principles.
- A love for data visualization
- Understanding of web services technologies such as REST
