Job Description
- Follow good development practices and software development life cycle methodologies (concept, design, test, release and support) throughout product development.
- Have a good understanding of the product from both a functional and technical perspective.
- Design and build product deliverables according to specifications
- Produce fully functional mobile applications writing clean code
- Write unit and UI tests to identify malfunctions
- Escalates technical design or specification issues to business analyst/project manager and application development director
- Troubleshoot and debug to optimize performance
- Liaise with Product development team to plan new features
- Design interfaces to improve user experience
- Recommend improvements to existing software programs.
- Analyzing and resolving technical and application problems.
- Perform tests according to planned schedules
- Research and suggest new mobile products, applications and protocols
- Maintaining software documentation
- Participate with TL at project time estimate in addition to discussing Technical Requirements.
- Supporting and answering junior developers’ inquiries
- Ensure new and legacy applications meet quality standards
- Stay up-to-date with new technology trends
- Participating at Demos with clients if needed
Job Requirements
- 3+ years of experience
- Bachelor's Degree of computer science
- Fluent in English (speaking and writing)
- Proficient with Objective-C or Swift {{depending on project requirements}}, and Cocoa Touch
- Experience with iOS frameworks such as Core Data, Core Animation, etc.
- Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect iOS applications to back-end services
- Knowledge of other web technologies and UI/UX standards
- Understanding of Apple’s design principles and interface guidelines
- Knowledge of low-level C-based libraries is preferred
- Experience with performance and memory tuning with tools (such as Instruments and Shark, depending on project needs)
- Familiarity with cloud message APIs and push notifications
- Knack for benchmarking and optimization
- Proficient understanding of code versioning tools {{such as Git, Mercurial or SVN}}
- Familiarity with continuous integration
