Job Brief
The Application Development Manager plans, coordinates and supervises all activities related to the detailed design, development, and implementation of software or application. He guides the development team on issues related to the detailed design, development, and deployment of software or application. He establishes development and deployment plans, milestones, and deliverables in consultation with all stakeholders”.
Responsibilities
- Manage and mentor a highly skilled, talented team of Software Developers.
- Understand and practice agile software development and management.
- Lead technical discussions and drive effective technical decisions covering area of responsibility.
- Collaborate across business and technology functions to ensure comprehensive business solutions are implemented.
- In depth data analysis to support business requests and application trouble shooting.
- Ability to operate and develop in various SDLC methodologies including Agile.
- Partner effectively with stakeholders to manage scope and deliverables.
Job Requirements
Qualifications
- 8+ years of design, development, and deployment of application software.
- 5+ years of extensive experience leading development teams across multiple locations.
- Strong written and oral communication skills to be able to clearly describe and discuss problems.
- Experience with cloud technology products.
- Knowledge of Magento E-commerce Platform.
- Excellent verbal & written skills to interact with peers, business partners & customers.
- Experience with Web technologies.
- Knowledge of ERP systems, preferably Microsoft Dynamics 365.
- Experience in Continuous Integration & Delivery of applications.
- Experience in building web/Mobile applications.
