Accountable for the installation, set-up, build and deployment of the monitoring environment.
Perform PoV & POC “Proof of Value & Concept” for customers on our platform to attract new business opportunities.
Technical assessment for new vendors and discover new opportunities.
Technical capabilities to perform /lead new in-house development opportunities based on customer requirements.
Supports project and transition managers in the project plan build, making technical decisions, estimating project costs and timelines
Interacts with the business stakeholders and process owners
Involved in the bidding process and pre-sale activities

5-8 years of experience in different service management areas and a minimum of 5 years working with MicroFocus tools such as “OMi/OBM, uCMDB, SiteScope, BSM/APM and AppDynamics”.
Ability to interact with architecture designs and compose LLD documents for new engineering solutions
Proved hands-on experience in taking and owning technical decision.
Proficient in ITIL methodology and especially change and configuration management processes
Good analytical and pro/blem solving skills and ability to deliver excellent results and deliverables within projects and programmes.
Excellent documenting and oral presentation skills.
Ability to work in a complex ecosystem and manage priorities accordingly.

Qualifications/ Accreditations Required

Extensive technical knowledge in Monitoring tools “Mainly MicroFocs ITOM stack” as an implementer, Universal Discovery and Microfocus Operations Bridge suite such as OMI, Operations Agents and BSM/APM • Strong technical expertise in developing web services APIs and advance programming skills in SQL, Shell scripting and programming language such as Java, Perl, Python, Powershell, Javascript
System and web application servers administration skills (Linux, Windows, JBoss web application server, Apache)
Cloud and Kubernetes/Dockers technologies are a must have.
ITIL and ITSM are proficient. Knowledge of BMC Remedy and Atrium is a big plus
Ability to work with business partners and stakeholders to help define requirements and discuss with architecture team functional/technical designs
Ability to be autonomous and to take ownership of topics
Delivery focused and customer satisfaction obsessed

Nice-to-Have Experience/Skills

Knowledge of Micro Focus ITOM tools suite (UCMDB/Operations bridge/SiteScope / BPM / RUM / NNM / Diagnostics /Operations Orchestrator/ ArcSight)
Solid understanding of virtualization, containerization and cloud technologies
Experience with producing business cases, UML & Service modelling or Business Process Modelling experience.
Demonstrated experience developing, deploying, and implementing a commercial enterprise performance and capacity monitoring system.
Demonstrated experience developing system integration and automation capability to improve operational response time and accuracy in diagnosing and resolving issues.
Demonstrated ability to evaluate system efficiency, develop system performance metrics, and drive continuous process improvement of IT/network
