Job Description
- Directs and coordinates production activities to meet standard quality and established targets by performing the following tasks:
- Develops and designs a production reports and schedules form that serves in capturing all the necessary information for his review purposes and for cost accounting as well.
- Receives and reviews production orders or schedules to certain product data such as types, quantities, specifications of products, and scheduled delivery dates in order to plan production.
- Determines resources need to meet production requirements, including labor and raw materials.
- Prepares operational schedules establishing priorities and sequences for manufacturing products.
- Interprets production approach, methods, and detailed production schedules and listens to subordinates observations.
- Follows production by reviewing operational reports and resolves operational and manufacturing problems to prevent operational delays.
- Coordinates production activities maintenance and quality control activities to obtain optimum production and utilization of human resources, machines, and equipment.
- Submits for review to the Operation Manager a program providing for major repair and overhaul of equipment with projections for additional items of equipment of a capital nature.
- Analyses current plant production processes and usage of materials, manpower, and machinery on a continuing basis to improve methods of operation and ensure efficient use of materials, equipment and so forth to enable the plant to manufacture present products more effectively and economically.
- Evaluates and recommends improvements in the use of equipment, material, and manpower after appraising current backlogs, overtime demands, service request, performance levels, quality levels, and cost effects.
- Exercises daily control over the utilization of machines, materials, and manpower as required. Reviews all control reports, including daily production reports, downtime report quality reports and the like both to keep informed and to determine the type and application of control required.
- Provides information on production capacity and volumes.
- Determine the overall manufacturing resources required to meet annual targets, labor, materials, machinery, and equipment.
- Controls personnel matters for the plant.
- Assigns staff, recommends promotion, salary increases, initially approves vacation schedules prepared by shift Engineers.
- Resolves personnel problems.
- Coating color recipe and coater part mechanism and quality control a previous experience is a must.
- Control previous experience must be.
- Process chemical reduces cost and improves efficiency.
- Special paper product knowledge operation skills.
- Report to the Production Manager/Mill Manager.
Job Requirements
- A bachelor's degree in Engineering, with specialization in paper technology of Chemical Engineering.
- A minimum of 10 years experience in production control, with at least 3 years at a similar level in a Paper manufacturing company ( duplex & Coated paper).
- Ability to effectively present information to top management and public groups.
- Knowledge of waste generation & Disposal of rejects, backwater disposal.
- Basic awareness about PPEs, Emergency response plan, safety in use and handling of chemicals, machines.
- Need good communication skill, To have good leadership skills.
- Production planning, Machine health maintenance. Quality maintenance with the coordination of Shift Leaders.
